"Don't worry about it and thank you." Adam nodded. "Well, I'll see you around I guess. It's not that big of a town." He waved halfheartedly, and walked across the street, running into the trees of the park.
A car screeched to a halt, and two men stepped out, each standing on one side of Jill. "Excuse me miss, but we'd like to ask you a few questions." The first man man held up his badge, "That man you were with is very dangerous. Do you know his name?" The second man turned his head left and right, eyes scanning the sidewalks for Adam.
Adam peered through the bushes, cursing under his breath with all the cuss words he could think of, and making some up. A third man got out of the car. "Detective Reider. We'll actually need to take you in for questioning." He nodded to the second man who took the dog's leash from her hands, the first man grabbing her by the arms and putting her, not too gently, into the car, and left the dog on the sidewalk. "Shit," Adam breathed, running after them. There was no way he could catch up, but he knew where they were headed. And there was no way in hell he was going to phase right in the middle of town.
You idiot! Are you trying to get yourself killed?! You don't even know her! Yeah, Adam knew he'd probably get his ass kicked, but at least he had a gun. He saw the dog, and wincing he went over to it. "Hey, I don't know your name.. I think, but.." What the hell was he going to do with her dog? "I don't know.. shit, well, follow me I guess? Come on boy.." If the dog didn't follow, it didn't follow. Adam started running again, ignoring the looks people were giving him.
The car pulled into a parking lot. Their 'facility' was a mile or so out of town, so everything they did there was.. hidden from the public. The two men pulled her from the back seat, and walked her in, the third man following behind. They brought her to a room, the first and third man locking themselves in with her. The first man forced her to sit in a chair, the third, Reider, sitting on the side opposite of her. "That man. Do you know his name?"
Adam stopped outside, gun in hand. Why was no one guarding the front door? Dumbasses. How was he supposed to get in? Ah ha! A vent! He ran over, climbed in, and started crawling through the ventilation system. This was a stupid idea.

Bye. Jill said. She watched as he crossed the street and ran into the bushes. She frowned slightly and looked down at Max. Max looked back and whined. Just then a car pulled up right in front of her. She backed up a step. Max growled as two men got out of the car and stood on both sides of his owner. Jill looked at the two men and frowned. One asked or more like told her that they wanted to ask her questions. He even showed her his shiny badge. Ooo, shiny. She said and her eyes narrowed. The government.
Then he told her that the guy that she had been with was dangerous. She rolled her eyes and let out a frustrated breath. Then she turned toward her suitcase to pick it up. You know, I don't have time for this- She was cut off mid sentence when another man got out of the car and introduced himself. Detective Reider. She turned to face him. Then he nodded and the two men yanked Max's lead out of her hand and shoved her in the car. Hey! She shouted and fought against them. But this only caused her to bonk her head and knock her hat off onto the sidewalk.
Max barked as the car drove away. He growled and then realized that Jill wasn't coming back. He whined and picked up her hat. Then that guy came again. Max perked his ears forward and watched as he starting running after the car. Max wagged his tail and ran after him with Jill's hat in his mouth and his leash dragging on the pavement.
Jill smacked at the man that forced her down in the chair. She frowned and crossed her arms over her chest. She looked around the room. Just a square box. With the door locked tight. Her brown gaze narrowed as Detective Reider sat down in front of her. He asked her something. About the guy's name. She didn't know his name. I don't know his name! And if I did why would I tell you!? All you guys are are pieces of shit. She said and sat back in the metal chair.

"I don't know his name! And if I did why would I tell you!? All you guys are are pieces of shit." The first man raised his hand, ready to hit her, but Reider raised a brow, "No. No need for violence." The first man shrugged, and moved over to a wall, crossing his arms and leaning against it. "I suppose it's reasonable that you don't know him. You only just arrived." Reider dropped a file on the table, opened it and shuffled a few papers. "Jill Miley West.." Eyes moved ran over the rest, and he handed it to the first man. "I believe we know each other Jill," a coy grin slipped across his lips.
Adam dropped from an opening in the ceiling, the grate making a loud bang as it swung open. Gun in hand, he regained himself, stood and looked around. The hall was empty, and so he walked quickly, pushing himself up against the wall at a little intersection of hallway. A camera. Fuck. Instead of shooting it, he ran down one of the hallways, nearly jumping down a staircase.
Several men filed out of a room, and opened fire. He cursed and quickly dove behind a stack of metal boxes. Fragile? Eyes widened in horror. It had to be the drug. How badly he wanted to destroy it.. but there was no time. Adam peered around the corner shooting all of the men.. either injuring or killing them.
Keeping his breathing even, he ran down another hallway, and waited outside a door. This was the room.. She had to be in there.
"What the-" The first man opened the door at the sound of gunfire, and Adam shot blindly, the bullet hit his stomach area. Adam winced, and dashed into the room. "Drop the gun," Reider stood, gun pointed at Jill. Time to act. "You think I care if you shoot her?" He laughed, as if he found the current situation hilarious.. as if he didn't care whether someone lived or died. "I don't even know her."
Reider licked his lips, hand moving under the table. "Don't," Adam warned, gun pointed at his head. "Too late!" Reider shouted, grinning like a madman. "Take his gun." "Wha-" With his gun torn from his grasp, it was time to go into kill mode.
A wolf was now Adam, and vice versa, eyes glinting as he launched himself at the two men, tearing out their throats, blood spraying into his face. Yelping, Adam lept sideways, a long slash on his side. "Bastard," he growled, the guard who had cut him backed up, eyes wide. Reider shut the door on Adam, and the quickly dying guards, and faced Jill, eyes glinting with madness.
"Shit." Adam looked back at the door, bloody muzzle parting as he killed the last guard. Whining, he sat down at the door, scratching at it, barking and snarling every so often.
"Remember me Jill? Do you?" He laughed, gun still pointed at her. "Can't escape now, and your little friend can't help you. What now bitch?" Grinning wildly, he took a step closer.

Jill swallowed and prepared herself to be hit but Reider told him to stop. No need for violence. How odd. That was something she didn't expect to come from someone who worked for the government. She frowned when he opened a folder and read her full name out. Where had that file come from? The man looked her with a coy smile on his lips. I think we know each other Jill. Her eyes widened. Then she remembered. His face. His face was laughing as she fought against the mountain lion. He stood leaning against the house with a beer in his hand. Clearly drunk.
Jill swallowed and shook her head. No, I don't think so... She began. Then she heard sounds on the other side of the door. She gasped and listened. Gun fire. Her heart was beating wildly. it could be him, could it? Just then one of the men opened the door and there stood the guy from earlier. With a gun. He shot the officer and Reider stood up. Jill turned her gaze to him and was face to face with a gun. She swallowed and looked at the guy again. Reider told the men to take Adam's gun. They did so and he turned into a wolf. Jill's eyes widened and watched as he tore the throats out of the other two guys.
Just then he ran outside and attacked a guard. Jill watched as Reider slammed the door shut and pointed the gun at her again. His eyes. They were filled with madness. She felt herself shrinking back into her seat. She felt like she was eleven again. She felt helpless. She didn't even have a horse this time. She just had herself. Than Reider asked if she remembered him. Her eyes narrowed. You're that bastard who ruined my life! She screamed.

"You're that bastard who ruined my life!" At this, his insane laughter filled the small room, eyes locked on her. Suddenly, his laughter ceased, "Bingo," he whispered, gun still aimed at her. "And what are you going to do about it, Jill?" He slammed his free hand on the table, and if it weren't for the bolts holding it to the floor, he could have easily moved it forward and pinned her to the wall.. but from that, she was spared. "What are you going to do?" He repeated, so intent on seeing if she had gotten any smarter.
More guards came charging into Adam's little space, and he growled menacingly, crouching in an attack position. These guards were obviously new to the job unlike the ones he had killed before.. How easily they backed up. "Hello boys," he said, grinning. He lept from the floor, taking down one of them, the others running back the other way. "P- please.. I have a family!" Adam cocked his head, "Really? Where's your wedding ring?" He could feel the man shaking beneath him, and growled. "Go and tell the others everything's fine and there's no reason to come back. Make up a good excuse or I'll hunt you down. I have your scent. Oh, and give me your keys." With one last snarl he got off and the guard got to his feet and sprinted away, the keys laying at his feet.
Now human, but naked, Adam picked up the keys, trying each one not stopping until one unlocked the door, but he didn't open it yet. He picked up one of the guard's guns, and cracked the door open, poking the muzzle through, and he pulled the trigger. "Hell!" Reider shouted, jumping as the bullet hit the wall next to him, gun tumbling onto the floor. Shit. I missed. Adam shoved the door open, quickly phasing back into his wolf form before they saw his nakedness. With the gun in his mouth he crouched down slightly, holding it up so she could grab it. After hearing what she had screamed, he figured she'd want to be the one to kill him. If she could actually do such a thing. "Kill him," he said as best he could with something between his teeth.

Jill's chocolate brown eyes narrowed. This man had ruined her life and he had just admitted it. What a sadistic, evil, disgusting human. A frown slithered onto her face slowly. She stood up and felt the anger boiling up. All the hatred from going through the hospital. The stupid cane. The stupid limp. The stupid scars. That stupid mountain lion. All of it flashed before her eyes and now it seemed that all she could see was.....red. He asked her what she was going to do. The answer was obvious to her but she wouldn't tell him yet. Her gaze watched as he slammed the table with his hand. It was bolted to the ground so it didn't move. Then he asked her again.
She raised an eyebrow and continued to stare at him. She would answer when the time was right. Just then her hearing caught sound of more guards coming outside. Then someone talking. It sounded like that guy from earlier. Jill watched as the door opened and a gun poked through. It shot at Reider and missed him. Darn. Just then the door opened all the way and there stood a wolf. Jill she watched as he crouched close to her with the gun in his mouth. She heard two words. Kill him. Jill took the gun and pointed it at Reider. Reider. Would you really like to know what I'm going to do about it? How about this! She said and shot two bullets toward his forehead. She hoped and hoped that they killed him.

"Reider. Would you really like to know what I'm going to do about it? How about this!" Reider grinned, body locking up as a bullet hit near the middle of his forehead, the other near his jaw, Adam flinching at the sound of the gunfire. Reider still wore his silly grin, dull, lifeless eyes still fixed on her. His body swayed, and he staggered back, still slightly alive until he hit the wall and fell sideways, a long streak of red where his head had hit. Blood poured out of the bulletwounds and out all over his face.
"Well shit. We're screwed." Adam blurted out, and glanced up at Jill. "Let's go," he muttered, leaping out the door and looking around. After those shots, the men Adam sent away would know someone had been killed and it wasn't going to be the girl. There was only a matter of time before they came running and screaming after them.
With or without her Adam grimaced, shifting back into his rather.. natural form and opened the back door, which for some reason wasn't locked. Another reason for Adam to mutter 'dumbasses' under his breath.
Once outside, he dug underneath a bush, pulling jeans and a shirt from out of the hole. He pulled them on, but they were a bit short for the tall male. Great. The shirt went above his bellybutton a little, and the jeans were no different in how short they were. The hem of the pantlegs were above his ankle. Where's that dog? If he lost that dog, he could bet that that chick would murder him.
